Mandy Lemons and Sturgis Nikides are blazing new trails on the stomping grounds of Blues Roots and Americana music. Texas blues, Memphis rock’n soul , and a healthy dose of New York attitude help define the sound and spirit of their music. Their latest record, “Sanctified,” has been called a modern blues masterpiece. They tour throughout the U.S. and Europe and also play regularly on Memphis’ legendary Beale Street.

Their recordings have received critical acclaim world-wide, including numerous Best Of lists. Their albums have placed on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Blues & Top 50 Blues-Rock Album Charts as well as the prestigious Living Blues Magazine Top 25 Radio Chart. Sirius XM B.B. Kings Bluesville has had their music in heavy rotation since the beginning of 2015 starting with their second album ‘You Can’t Keep A Good Woman Down,’ and now continuing with their third and latest release, ‘Sanctified.’
Just back to Memphis from February’s Rebel Rebel Film Festival in Paris and their barnstorming 2017 European Winter Tour, Low Society has appeared at Clarksdale, Mississippi’s Juke Joint Festival 5 times, Memphis’s inaugural Bona Fide Blues Festival, Virginia’s Winchester Blues House Festival, the 2012 BluesAlive Festival in the Czech Republic & Poland, Switzerland’s prestigious 2015 Lucerne Blues Festival and in 2017 – Blues Club Leutzbeurg’s 20th Anniversary Concert in Luxembourg. They appear regularly in Memphis and 2018 will find them playing extensive shows across the US and Europe, including the Western Maryland Blues Festival in June, on the main stage at the Luxembourg Blues ‘N Jazz Rally in July and the Blues Aan Zee Festival in the Netherlands in November.Low Society's Website
