This year’s Blues Fest is FREE on Friday, featuring two bands (Low Society and Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones). Saturday is a ticketed event featuring 6 terrific bands with the lowest ticket prices we’ve seen in a long time. Buy in advance at $30 each! That’s $3.75 an hour for a day of great entertainment!

Low Society plays a blend of Texas Blues and Memphis rock n’ soul with a healthy dose of New York attitude.

Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones is a good fun band playing swing style blues.

Ghost Town Blues Band is a high energy group playing Memphis-style blues.

Albert Castiglia plays an amplified blues style associated with Chicago with a tinge of rock thrown in.

Joanna Connor is a slide guitarist who can shred a guitar better than just about anyone.

Popa Chubby plays a performance style he describes as “the Stooges meets Buddy Guy, Motörhead meets Muddy Waters, and Jimi Hendrix meets Robert Johnson.”

Biscuit Miller &The Mix plays in a fun and funky James Brown-style.

Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues come out of the Chicago blues tradition, and there’s no better harmonica player than him.
